Shat Karmas, also known as Shatkriyas, are six powerful yogic cleansing techniques mentioned in traditional Hatha Yoga texts like the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Gheranda Samhita . These practices are designed to purify the body and prepare it for higher practices such as pranayama (breath control), dhyana (meditation), and ultimately, samadhi (spiritual liberation).
